Home services is the specialty. Websites, I'll build for anybody. Here's who I've worked with and what I actually did.

Ideal Truck Accessories — Terrell, Texas

Truck accessories and outfitting, in business since 1994, bought by the current owner about a year ago.

Their website had been dark for two weeks when he called me. A hosting plan had lapsed and nobody was watching it — the kind of failure that costs a retail business real money and that nobody notices until a customer mentions it.

  • Got the site back online and rebuilt the front end so there was something live while the full build got underway
  • Moved the whole setup onto infrastructure the owner controls outright, so the same lapse can't take him down again
  • Built a working quote form that delivers straight to his inbox
  • Ran a competitive analysis across the accessory keywords that matter in his area

Underway: the full site rebuild, Google profile cleanup, and a straight read on the one product category where a nearby competitor is genuinely outranking him. Not everything about his search position is broken — most of it is fine, and the honest finding was that the gap is narrower and more specific than either of us assumed going in.

Willmer Construction

A construction business, and the one client that sits squarely in the middle of everything I do — on profile for both the Maps retainer and the website side. The lead-notification automation built here is the same pattern now running the review request sequence for everybody else.

PolkTX — polktx.com

Not a client. This one's mine, and it's the closest thing I have to showing my work rather than describing it.

PolkTX is a community reference site for Polk County: who your elected officials actually are, when the elections are, what TxDOT is doing to the roads, local sports, and what's being built around the lake. Neutral and factual, with no opinion column and no axe to grind.

  • 89 officeholder records, 82 of them verified against primary sources, with the unverified ones marked as unverified rather than quietly published
  • Built on the same stack I put clients on — Astro on Cloudflare, so it's fast and there's nothing to hack
  • Every page reads from structured data, which is what makes a local site maintainable by one person instead of turning into a second job

If you want to know whether I can build something that ranks locally and stays accurate, this is the thing to look at. It's also where I learned most of what I know about how Google treats local content in a small county.

Why one of these isn't a home service business. A truck accessory shop is a destination business — people go to it on purpose rather than searching "near me" in a panic. That means the Google Maps service genuinely isn't built for it, and I don't pretend otherwise. The website work is a different question, and it's open to anybody.
